CLINICAL & COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGY

Clinical and counselling psychology supports people with a wide range of mental health problems and work to reduce psychological distress and to enhance the promotion of psychological wellbeing. Clinical psychologists have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) and HCPC registration. Counselling psychologists have a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DCounsPsych) and HCPC registration. Both fields aim to work to improve mental health, using a range of evidence-based approaches.
